     Helen Ray McFee died on 4 September 1896 at Youngstown, Mahoning County, Ohio, at age 0; age 4 months, Death Cert. #3084, Mahoning Co. Board of Health. The cause of death was listed as Marasmus. This is also called infantile atrophy. Extreme wasting that occurred in newborns and yorng children without obvious cause.¹

     

Jennette Maude Thompson was dressmaker. She She was the daughter of James and Mary Lamb Thompson. I found Maude in the 1910 Toledo, OH census with her mother and sister Agnes. Mrs. Thompson had had nine children with 5 living. Maude was a trimmer in a millinery store. Her sister was a milliner. Maude returned to live with her sister about 1922. She suffered from diabetes and died there in St. Charles MI. She was born on 10 July 1880 at Youngstown, Mahoning County, Ohio.

     Jennette Maude Thompson married Hugh McFee, son of Angus McFee and Jean/Jane Forgie, on 12 November 1912 at Toledo, Lucas County, Ohio.

     Jennette Maude Thompson died on 3 December 1923 at St. Charles, Saginaw, MI, at age 43; MRS. MCFEE DEAD Local relatives have received word of the death of Mrs. Hugh McFee, formerly Maude Thompson, of this city, which occurred Tuesday afternoon at the home of her sister, at St. Charles, Mich. Funeral services will be held in Toledo Saturday afternoon.^1,2 She was buried on 8 December 1923 at Woodlawn Cemetery, Toledo, Lucas County, Ohio.^3,4

     Lola M. McFee She had her Thryoid removed sometine during her life but died of a stroke. She was born on 7 January 1876 at West Austintown, Mahoning County, Ohio.¹ She was the daughter of Angus McFee and Jean/Jane Forgie.

     Nelle McFee married Harry Keeling on 25 June 1902.

     Nelle McFee died on 22 February 1969 at Sleighbelle Nursing Home, Austintown, Mahoning County, Ohio, at age 85. She was buried on 24 February 1969 at Lake Park Cemetery, Youngstown, Trumbull County, Ohio.

     Gavin J. Smith died on 6 December 1911 at St. Elisabeth's Hospital, Youngstown, Mahoning County, Ohio, at age 42; From a list of deaths kept by Mary McFee Smith, his wife. He had a brain tumor. He had just had an operation to try to remove it.^4,5 He was buried on 9 December 1911 at Oak Hill Cemetery, Lot #888, Youngstown, Mahoning County, Ohio.²

     Charles Jackson I belileve he had a first wife and that was why he was buried in Ashtabula. I have no proof. He was born on 13 October 1873; He gave his address as Youngstown, Ohio but registered in Ashtabula. He saidhe was a locomotive engineer on the New York City RR.¹ He registered for the draft for World War I on 12 September 1918,while living at Local Board 1, Ashtabula, Ashtabula, Ohio.¹

Charles Jackson was Engineer on the RR between Youngstown and Ashtabula Ohio. on 12 September 1918.²

     John J. Roemer was buried at Poland, Mahoning County, Ohio. He This information is from their daughter, Helen Trimbur. His parents were Heinrich Roemer and Margaret Hill.

     John J. Roemer died; Killed by a streetcar. He was christened on 18 October 1874.

     Harry Keeling was born on 17 May 1876.¹ He was served Harry was in the Fifth Regiment, Ohio Volunteer Infantry, Company H from Youngstown. His rank was Wagoner. He lived in Youngstown OH, was 21 years old when he volunteered. This information is from Ancestry. com and I do not know where the book referred to is located. in 1898 at Spanish American War.²

     Harry Keeling married Nelle McFee, daughter of Angus McFee and Jean/Jane Forgie, on 25 June 1902. Harry Keeling resided circa 1940 at Volunteer Bay, Vermillion, Erie County, Ohio; Harry and Nelle lived there in a community called Volunteer Bay. This was a place for veterans of the Spanish American War. I don't know if they rented or owned their little house. His Social Security Number was 272-03-4718. Issued in Ohio before 1951. in 1973.

     Harry Keeling died in October 1973 at Sleighbelle Nursing Home, Austintown, Mahoning County, Ohio, at age 97. He was buried in October 1973 at Lake Park Cemetery, Youngstown, Trumbull County, Ohio.

     

     Hugh McFee died at Ohio. He Hugh and his wife were living at 64 Murdock Avenue, Youngstown, OH in the 1900 Federal Census. It said he emigrated in 1863 [with his parents] and was naturalized.

     Hugh McFee married Margaret Gray. Hugh McFee was born on 16 February 1859 at Bathgate, West Lothian, Scotland.¹ He was the son of Hugh McFee. Hugh McFee appeared on the census of 1900; says he emigrated in 1863 and he is naturalized.

     Johan George Hoover /Huber was served at Codurus Twp., York County, Pennsylvania.¹ He was buried at Bender's Churchyard, Butler Twp., Adams County, Pennsylvania.

Johan George Hoover /Huber was Tavern Keeper at Adams County, Pennsylvania. He Mrs. Neva Weisberger of Kansas, now deceased, told me she had proof that George Huber was born in Switzerland. She and her sister came to Adams Co., PA. They put a plaque in the Bender's Lutheran Church yard with the following on it: George Huber, born in Schweitz, 6 Aug. 1735, died 6 Oct. 1815, age 80.3.0 His wife is buried beside him and the tombstone gives her name as Katherine "witwe" born 1755, died 12 Dec. 1824, age 69 years, 2 weeks, and 5 days.
In the Adams Co. Historical Society the Menallen Twp., records of licenses issued to tavern keepers show that George Huber obtained a license in 1802. His tavern was located five miles northeast of Gettysburg on the Conowago. He was on the list until 1813, when his name no longer appears.
Miss Weisgerber states that George and his brother, Ulrich, lived about 1/2 mile from St. Jacob's Cemetery on Kerbs Road. George took out a warrant for his home farm about 1757. It bordered his brother's and faced on Kerbs Rd. which now corresponds to Highway 216, leading from Hanover to Brodbecks. I have found a warrant dated Feb. 6, 1809 to George Huber, originally dated April 1765 to Ulrick Huber and James Moore for a certain tract of land called "Addition" in Cordorus Twp. George paid the sum of $247.82 for 268 acres and 36 perches. [P60-241, Harrisburg]. There was another survey done 7 Mar. 1905 in pursuance of a warrant dated 23 June 1768 which was surveyed for George Hoober 12 April 1768 for 227 1/2 acres in Cordorus Twp. [C74-248]. Ulrich and George certainly were in that area but they both moved over to Adams Co. Ulrich to Reading Twp. and George to Tyrone and Menallen.
He was a Captain in the Revolutionary War. His Company was in Codorus Twp. between 1776-1777. at Adams County, Pennsylvania. He was born on 6 August 1735 at Switzerland; Plaque in Bender's Lutheran Cemetery. He was the son of Johan Georg Huber. Johan George Hoover /Huber immigrated circa 1753; With his brother, father and mother on Ship Rowand or Snow Rowand.

     Johan George Hoover /Huber died on 6 October 1815 at Adams County, Pennsylvania, at age 80.

     Johan Georg Huber He was probably from the area around Altdorf, Switzerland, but last from Basel. This information is from Neva Weisgerber. No proof supplied. The only reference that I have found to show that they were here and were the parents of Johan Georg Huber is the entry in Rev. Jacob Lischy's Private Register, 1743-1769. Joh. Georg and his wife Magdalena were the sponsors for a baby born to John George Jr. and his wife Margaret, in 1765. at Switzerland. He was born circa 1700 at Switzerland. He immigrated circa 1753; Snow Rowand.

     Ulrich Hoover /Huber Ulrich was married three times. 1] Anna Maria, 2] Susannah, and 3] Eva. He had 22 children. He owned land on Kerbs Rd, Cordorus Twp., York Co. PA which bordered on his brother's. He then moved to Reading, Latimore Twp., Adams Co. PA. where he was living when he died. Orphans Court Records of Adams Co.: Roll #287, B21, Jan. 7, 1812 John Hoover and Jacob Miller, adm. of the estate of Ulrich Hoover, late of Reading Twp. dec'd produced further account of their administration as settled with the registrate of this county. Balance of $5,251.59 in hand. Roll #287, page B87 lists Ulrich of Reading. Says eldest son was John Hoover, lists Susannah married with Phil Robaugh; Catherine; Eve married with Geo. Werley; George; Henry; Peter; Elizabeth; Mary; Barbara; Sarah and David or unto the guardian of such of them as are minors. The sum of $82.00. Also pay unto Eve, Catharine, Elizabeth and John Keller, the children of Magdalena married with Philip Keller now dec'd. He had land in Reading, Latimore Twp. called patented land. He was buried at Emanuel's Reformed Cemetery, Hamilton Twp., Adams Co. He was 71 years, 6 months and 10 das. Eva was aged 65 years. He was born on 24 March 1734 at Switzerland. He was the son of Johan Georg Huber. Ulrich Hoover /Huber immigrated circa 1753; with his brother, and Father and Mother on the Snow Rowand.

Ulrich Hoover /Huber was Farmer circa 1770. He was served in 1780 at Constable, Codorus Twp., York County, Pennsylvania.¹ He was tax lists listed with 300 acres, 9 people in the house and he operated a gristmill/sawmill in 1783 at Codorus Twp., York County, Pennsylvania.

     Ulrich Hoover /Huber died on 5 October 1805 at age 71. He was buried on 7 October 1805 at Emanuel's Reformed Cemetery.

     Margaret Shearer Margaret and Johan George had eight children, six of whom died in an epidemic along with their mother. A boy and a girl survived. From Deed Book GH, page 272, Adams Co. Court house, I believe Barbara and John are the two surviving children of that marriage. Joh. George dropped the name George and called himself John. He served in the war of 1812.

     John Georg Huber He also lived in Baltimore Co., MD. He was christened on 24 February 1765 at St. Jacob's Church, Codorus Township, York County, Pennsylvania.¹ He was the son of Johan George Hoover /Huber and Margaret Shearer.
